Easy Like Sunday Morning

These were in fact shot on a Saturday but there's something about this outfit and the way the Sun hits it just right that reminds me of a gorgeous Sunday morning. (Excuse me while I'm in my feels.) Anyway, I'm slowly learning that the best way to revamp or rewear some of your summer clothes is layer! It's the easiest (and cheapest) way to also make some of your old clothes feel like new. I loved this color palette I created with these two items. This jumper is definitely a Summer color/vibe but I toned it down with a cream turtleneck. It definitely adds warmth and helps bring it to a more neutral appearance. I put on my statement hat from Lack of Color just to add more to the natural palette. The shoes were also a nude color and somewhat added a relaxed feel since they're flat. Voila, instantly new outfit thanks to my layers! What do you think, are you into layers?
