Cotton Candy

When the retail stores first opened back up again after quarantine I made it my mission to get to TJ Maxx as fast as I could to see what good deals they would have. I didn’t find as much as I’d hoped for but I did find this cute cotton candy colored slip dress. I was in love! It was and still is perfect for the warmer weather we are currently still having. I love the length but also love the neckline as well. I had planned to wear it later on in the evening so I also wanted to wear it more casual during the day. How do you make a dress more casual you ask? Pair it with some white sneakers! That is my first go to when I try to dress something down.

I really liked how the sneakers added some comfort and a very casual chic vibe. The visor was also a nice touch as it helped bring out a summery vibe as well. I’m a lover of backpacks over purses so I opted for my fave little backpack for some extra casualness. What do you think? Is this something you’d wear on a casual day or do you prefer it dressed up?
