Pep In My Step

I have an obsession with plaid, I admit it! I am so proud of this outfit especially because the bottoms were thrifted. Not only that but they originally were really long and grandma “looking” but I had a vision for them and I must say, they turned out perfect! I decided to get them because I saw that I cut just get them hem and voila, you have cute plaid shorts! I wanted to especially wear these with my loafer shoes just because of the vibe they give off together. It gives me school girl/preppy and I’m here for it! Nothing says prep like adding some frilly socks to your shoes and I love how these added just that perfect touch. I wanted to keep the shorts and shoes as the main focus so I kept the top neutral and muted. What do you think of my thrifted shorts? Would you wear something like this?
