Happy Friday and happy long weekend! I know most say that this weekend is the “last weekend of the Summer” or a Summer farewell but honestly, as long as its still hot, it’s still Summer in my book. The moment I’ve finally got to wear actual clothes and be out and about caused for some pictures as a celebration. If no one sees it, it doesn’t count right? This little number is actually from a small business which I had the pleasure of buying from here! I absolutely love supporting small businesses because I’d rather be giving my money to small than big corporations AND I know someone is doing a happy dance when they see me purchasing. Am I right?
I paired it with my iconic Lack of Color hat which honestly is worth the investment. This thang is so sturdy and literally its possibilities are endless. It definitely made the outfit more “safari” but when I got in front of these cacti, it looked like I was straight out of a Joshua Tree magazine; I was here for the vibes. I normally don’t feel “dressed up” with flats but I’m trying to normalize being more casual and it fit the look this time. This outfit was definitely on the more neutral side and I was here for it.
