Silky & Snake

I finally at this moment in time have no "new" clothes in my closet. What this means is that nothing still has the tag on it. For me, this is a first in a long time; a proud moment! But also a moment where I'm put to the test in having to be creative. I love this challenge though because it allows and pushes me to think outside the box and put my clothing to more use. So here I paired this silky black blouse and decided to instead pair with jeans, I went with the skirt instead. I would normally do some kind of heeled sandal but these boots of mine were also collecting dust so I decided it was time to dust them off. The OTK style allows for the boots to add more than just a shoe element to the outfit. It gives it a little more to the eye.

So here we have a top I've reused and a skirt I found how to dress up but also dress down. Now that my friends, is how you recycle and repurpose your clothing. What do you think? Enjoy the look and happy Wednesday!
